This download contains the latest X-Plus Configurator application for use with your Sound BlasterX® G1 on Windows® operating systems. The X-Plus Configurator enhances the performance of your product in competitive gaming with hardware-based X-Plus Signature. For more details, please read the rest of this web release note.

X-Plus Signature

Designed for the discerning competitive gamer, the Sound BlasterX G1 comes with an enhanced hardware-based X-Plus mode when connected to the Sound BlasterX H5 headset. It ramps up audio cues that matter most and clamps down on other not-so-crucial sounds – delivering precision sound and accurate directional cuesfor the added advantage in competitive games. Once the Sound BlasterX G1 is configured with your desired X-Plus game profile, you can enjoy the same enhanced audio signature at any tournament venue – no driver or application installation required.

• To install this pack, do the following:
  1. Download the file onto your local hard disk.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  4. Restart your computer when prompted.
